Our Core Program: 22 Week Transformation

How you respond to the world is influenced by more than you realize; it's below conscious awareness. It's beyond conventional psychology and common wisdom. It's essential to retrain the deeper systems in the mind and body which will happen with this training. And it's good to remember that healing and regulating the nervous system takes significant time. This core program is a start and is often all that is needed for many people.

Where you are now and how you interact with the world is not where you will be once you undertake this training. Your world will look different because you are changed. We will accomplish this by:

  • Education ~ Learning what is happening inside you allows your reactions to change. Knowledge is power

  • Experience ~ Watch and feel as the feedback you are getting makes internal shifts 

  • Cultivation ~ (which includes a commitment to following through) Best said: Practice Makes Permanent

  • Support ~ Your questions will be answered, you will be reminded and scheduled (but not overly so), you will be in the company of others doing this work (all of our team members have), celebrating and working through challenges.

  • Accountability ~ Depending on how you choose to set this up, it can be a gentle reminder each day or week to daily check-ins to see where you are making gains and where you are getting tripped up. We help you keep track so you don't get lost in the busy-ness of your life. "Without appropriate support, the environment takes over" So true! Many times our habits and environment do not support us to be our best selves. 


Here are only some of our methods:

  • Focus on loving kindness and warmth for self, just as we are now: Change comes most potently when we can accept ourselves and our current situation otherwise it feels like we are swimming upstream. It seems contradictory to be here looking for change and now we are telling you to be happy where you are! Our trainers take this to heart and know that the best opportunities for change comes from acceptance of what is. Think you can't do that? You may be surprised!

  • Heart Rate Variability and other types of biofeedback: Makes the invisible visible. We use it to create more resiliency and tone down the fight or flight response which allows you to respond to the world instead of react to it.

  • Shifts in perspective: What is important to you? What is working in your life? What is not working so well? Through processes like NLP and EFT, you will be seeing your life with different eyes; your own eyes and values, but from a different perspective.

  • Relational neuroscience and Poly-vagal theory: You will learn what is going on in your brain and body and why the typical reactions we experience can change by knowing and instilling this information. The latest neuroscience is showing us through brain imaging that what we once thought as natural can be shifted. The poly-vagal theory informs us about our social behavior and connections, our reactions to the world and our sense of safety in any environment. For many of us it answers questions of why we behave as we do. Once we recognize these patterns is it easier to make changes.

Do It Mostly on my Own

If other programs seem inappropriate

or don't fit into your budget

  • A minimum of three sessions is required to start this process. 

  • Our other customized programs help you reduce anxiety, be calmer, more focused, less reactive and have a happier perspective and better life. If you choose to not be in a regular program and have a few appointments instead, we will meet at least three times for 1.5 hours*. 

Best for those:

  • Who want necessary experience with equipment and resources to support working through challenges on your own

  • With a limited budget, erratic or limited schedule, or feel that they can't commit to the time it takes for a deeper dive with a group or practitioner. This is NOT for anyone who wants to make deep changes, rather get a taste for what is possible with the work we offer.

  • We will touch on the educational content and trainings from our longer programs, so you can be pointed in the right direction for your own self-directed program.

What you'll get:

  • Access to resources from our other programs

  • Three1.5 hour appointments* with a practitioner for training to use the Heart Rate Variability equipment, generally from Heartmath or other equipment of your choice

  • Check-ins and create accountability on private Facebook page with others in the "Do It Mostly on My Own"  Program

  • Often there is a group with a particular focus you can join, such as aging issues, menopause, transitions, etc.

  • We recommend that you read some of the former posts on Facebook group to get up to speed

  • Included to participate in twice-monthly conference video or audio calls for equipment training and Q&A to get your questions answered and hear other participants' insights and experiences 

  • You may start anytime and jump in with existing group

  • After the first three appointments this is entirely a home program.

  • You have the option of having an in-office session as needed for an additional charge. See Individual One-on-One sessions


Methods include:

  • Heart Rate Variability biofeedback with Heartmath equipment

  • Daily check-list worksheet

  • Lumosity brain games

Requirements for success with this option:

  • Must have virtual access to conference call (Internet or phone)

  • If conferencing over internet and not phone, computer with camera and microphone enabled to do video or voice conferencing

  • Quiet, dedicated time in private area. If not available, then will use listen only mode and type in comments and questions when appropriate

  • Be willing to use a private Facebook group or for support and getting questions answered

  • All questions should be posted prior to call in appropriate place to group Facebook page . At end of call, new questions will be answered if time remains.

  • Discounted training, equipment training or "I need help!" intervention calls available as needed for $39 per 10 minutes, pre-paid on PayPal

  • Use the online training is provided by as your training materials

    • Find them at to see their offerings

    • These HeartMath trainings are entirely self directed by client

Those enrolled in this program must purchase two things, preferably from us which gives you the same relationship and warranties as with Heartmath.​

  • You may use your own if you already own the equipment (check with us to be sure it's the right product)

  • REQUIREMENT ONE: HeartMath equipment

    • We recommend the hand-held Inner Balance for $159, plus tax  

      • There are often sales on this equipment. Check with us.​

      • We often buy back this equipment (around 50%) when the clients is finished with it. Buy-back depends on our current inventory.

      • We often have these rentals for $20 per week


  • REQUIREMENT TWO: Luminosity membership: ($15 month or $80 for year)

    • If part of a group then $15 is paid to AP monthly

      • The people in your Lumosity group will be your support group
